James Tredwells match figures
44.4 overs, 13 maidens, 100 runs for 10 wickets! What a haul!

Aye, he's turned into a really good spinner in the last couple of seasons and bats as well. Good that Yorkshire finally managed to win a County Championship match, Adil Rashid had a stormer by the looks of things.

I thought we would win it but fair play to Sussex, deserved winners.

Gotta agree. Too many times this year we've set sub standard targets and only defended them by the skin of our teeth. Someone like Goodwin batting through chasing that wee weak total made sure of a victory, although on a pretty poor pitch

Who needs the Ashes when there is a nice Roses battle going on Lancashire win the toss but Yorkshire pinned them to 178-6. Timmy Bresnan 2-25 off 19 overs and Adil Rashid 2-54 off 19 overs. Mark Chilton is hanging in there with 49* off 135. Get him out soon and Yorkshire can clean the tail.

Chilton on 73* at close with Lancs on 226-7, really in the balance.

Will anyone catch Durham in the County Championship?

Will anyone catch Durham in the County Championship? Personally I hope Durham win the title before the final game of the season so Yorkshire-Hampshire relegation battle will be live on Sky Sports

Trott has surpassed Bopara's best score all series, on his monkey'sing test debut.

You win some, you lose some.
ie theres a good chance he could get a first baller next innings, lets not base this around one innings and a batting haven

Bopara has batted at no3 while Trott has batted at no5. The ball gets softer and gets more abrasive as the game goes on, therefore it's easier to score runs.
Ian Bells 72 has ensured his place in the South Africa squad, the c**t.

Go Broady! 104-4 at the moment with Broad getting all 4 wickets, what an Aussie collapse!

Adil Rashid scores his 2nd conscutive century as Yorkshire end day 3 on 386-7 against Lancs. Rashid and Brophy put on a priceless 7th wicket stand of 168. Unfortunately Gerard was out on 99 as he nicked a ball to Luke Sutton off Gary Keedy.

Brophy? Blast from the past. How's he getting on?
Anyway, Northants somehow beat Derbyshire to propel them to third in the CC. We still have to play the bottom 3 at home too.

Done well at the start of the season batting wise but has been injured for most of the season, has been conceding a few too many byes for my liking.
Not sure whether Brophy will be at Yorkshire next season. Yorkshire have made a move for Worcestershire keeper Steve Davies and wicketkeeping prodigy Jonny Bairstow has deputised well in Brophys absence.

Set them a target of 350-400 and we're laughing. I know you can never write the Aussies off but they'll never get that many runs in a month of Sundays on that surface. I noticed the Aussie press were having a right whinge this morning too!
As an aside - why no Hilfenhaus today?!

By the time we'd have got a lead of 400, they'd have had 2 and a half days to rack that up. That is 7 1/2 sessions, about 17 hours to get it. Ok the surface won't be pukka but if people play sensibly, which they can, it would become winnable.

Crucial game at Scarborough between Yorkshire and Warwickshire. Warwickshire made 320 all out and got Yorkshire 100-6 at the end of Day 2, but step up Messers Gerard Brophy and David Wainwright who put on a priceless 154 8th wicket stand.
Yorkshire ended up 328ao with Super David Wainwright 102 not out. Warwickshire 111-2 in their 2nd inns.
A draw is on the cards unless if the Yorkshire bowlers go on one purple patch and get 8 wickets before lunchtime.

Surrey flying early doors against Kent after day 1. 261-4 at close and unless our bowlers produce something special we may well need to be playing for the draw.

We drew with Glamorgan. Always on the cards after the rain.
We have Warks at home in the Pro40 on Monday which is on Sky.
Middlesex in a 4 dayer at the back end of this week too, Strauss will most likely play so thats another load for him

Thrilling end to the Northants-Warwickshire game. Monty Panesar peforming well in the field, that catch at the crucial part of the game was just phenominal, shame the umpire didn't have the balls to give it out. Not a bad performance from Ian Bell but he should've been at the crease til the near end.

Mr Bell certainly wasn't a happy man. Nor was Shambrose.
I think all of us in the ground had an inkling it wasn't out when we see Monty rise up with it. Niall O'Brien had a shocker behind the stumps

What a ending that was. Fantastic final 2 balls from Hall.
On another note Kent beat Surrey comfortably in the end, we have been superb this season and there is no way i can see us not getting promoted to CCD1 now to be honest.

Hall is an absolute legend.
His finest moment was undoubtedly the Hants quarter final of the T20 this year when he steamed in and took the last few wickets. Absolutely mental
