Post any interesting rumours you hear here.
I'll start us off, i heard Barnes might be off to West Ham.
I doubt this one though, as he loves our club and we will be unwilling to let him go for less than 10 mil.

I've heard a rumour that the Neville brothers are ugly.
Heard another one that Lee Bowyer is a nasty, snivelling little racist prick.
Oh and another one that Derby will be challenging for a European place come next April.

lol stern john oh dear.....he is a good player can take anyone on and can certainly find the net but my god he is the laziest player in the football league. he plays when he wants to play not when you need him to play. he can change a game aswell, bristol city away in the cup we were 3-1 and he came on socred 1 and helped in the other he completely changed cov's game but it gets fustrating because you know he can do it but he rarely does.

Wolves to sign Joe Lynch from Brighton for £500,000! I wish, he's signed a new contract at Brighton. Apparently he's very promising and a few clubs are keeping tabs on him, such as West Ham and Newcastle.

Blackburn to sign Roque Santa Cruz from Bayern Munich for 4.5 million.
Which sounded OK to me until I read this article;
"Terrible. Rubbish. Disgraceful. Useless. Crap. Ridiculous. Hopeless. Bloody awful. It was, in other words, just another day at the office for Roque Santa Cruz.
In a few years, when people might still wonder what exactly happened to Germany's biggest club in 2006-07, one can simply point to the fact that the Paraguayan striker - the term is used very loosely here, he's scored zero in 22 this season, and a grand total of 29 in his seven previous seasons in Munich - was actually allowed to start three very important matches in a row. Santa Cruz, once a cult hero among fans, has elevated apathy to an art form and taken meekness to new, unprecedented levels.
Against Milan and Leverkusen, the 25-year-old's performances were so infuriatingly inept that he was booed off the pitch in the Allianz Arena by the 66,000 crowd.
Afterwards, some of Bayern's most loyal and ardent supporters fantasised about invading the pitch and smacking him across the face with a wet fish to wake him from his zombie-like slumber. In Stuttgart, where the Bavarians needed to at least draw to keep the Champions League hopes alive, he managed the impossible: in a totally wayward, depressingly poor side who never showed up at all, he was the man of the match. No one was worse, no one epitomised the champions' sad demise quite like him."

Sheffield Utd want that snake Beattie, he is poo. Everton were mugged for him when they bought him off Saints.
I poo my pants when he was linked with Rovers a couple of weeks ago!
Worth about 3 quid.

Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough and Rangers are vying for the signature of Hibernian right-back Steven Whittaker.
The 23-year-old's agent, Ken Anderson, told BBC Sport that a deal for the sale of the versatile player could be completed within the next few days.
A fee of between £1.5m and £1.8m will be required to seal the signature of the much-admired former Scotland Under-21 international.

Micky Gray's another ex-Sunderland player. He was fantastic back then, amazing to watch going forward.
Anyway, Sunderland are more or less guarenteed the signature of 21 year old Irishman Roy O'Donovan from Cork City in a deal believed to be just under £500,000. This would be a great signing as he's regarded as the hottest prospect in Irish Football. He's scored 20 goals for Cork already this season and they're only half way through the season. If he were to sign for Sunderland he would be loaned back to Cork until the end of their season in January.
Also Alan Smith is being strongly linked but i'm not to keen on this one. It may not be Smith but theres definately been a verbal agreement between Keano and Ferguson regarding a transfer. It all hinges on the Tevez deal apparently.
Reports from local newspaper The Sunderland Echo (which is rarely wrong about transfer rumours) claims that the Craig Gordon deal is back on after Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov gave in and dropped the price to under £9 Million and said he would not stand in the way of Craig Gordon leaving if he wnted. Gordon is rumoured to be heading to Wearside for contract talks and a medical if an agreement is reached.
2 of these deals are expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.

Keiron (I'm always injured but I still want a lot of money every week please) Dire is going to West Ham where he can join up once again with his snivelling little mate Bowyer.
PS I spelt Dire like that on purpose to indicate how useful I think he'll be.
