Kingdom of Heaven - Follows the fortunes of one of the Crusaders in the middle ages during the fall of Jerusalem to Saladin. A real epic with no expense spared, directed by Ridley Scott. I liked it, the way he casually bumped in to Richard the Lionheart at the end was just like Dylan's character wishing Columbus good luck.
Worth a look, some great action and you have to love the king with leprosy.

Driving Lessons - Bazzing British film with Julie Walters. Very good, satisfying film which ticked all the boxes for me.

Love And A 45 - Bit of a road movie with two young lovers on the run after, amongst other things killing 2 Texas Rangers. Quite violent, introduces some quirky characters, doesn't take itself too seriously by playing about with the Bonnie & Clyde analogy itself.
A bit overlong.
Average.

The Woodsman - Deals with the issue of paedophilia, stars Kevin Bacon in the role of a paedophile released from prison trying to keep his nose clean and resist the lure of young girls. Sensitively handled and a more than capable performance from Bacon. I enjoyed this.
Worth a look.

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean for the 3rd time during the weekend, I needn't go into how good it is as I'm sure most of the people on here have watched it!

Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the first one as I love hammy OTT acting & Johnny Depp made an art of it in that film!

Shoot 'em up - Ridiculous Clive Owen vehicle in which he plays a cool dude who finds himself unwittingly caught up in the most unfeasible plot I have ever seen. I won't bore you with it but suffice it to say that he spends the entire film shooting an endless succession of goons holding a new born baby which he has deliverd himself in the middle of a gunfight which resulted in the mother's death. His sidekick is a lactating hooker in stockings and suspenders and his trademark is biting the tops off raw carrots.
Avoid at all costs.

Thanks for the advice Arover. This is on TV over here (some time this week I think) &, because I like Clive Owen, I was going to watch it. Won't bother now.

Lord of The Rings -Return of the King.
A beautiful motion picture that fully deserves it's eleven oscars. Even though it isn't entirely true to Tolkien's book.

Completely agree Sam. Great fantasy story, well acted (particularly Andy Serkis), terrific scenery set off by the best CGI in a film by far. What more could you want?

Linewatch - I don't think this one has been released as the copy I saw was a screener and it's a 2008 film. Stars Cuba Gooding as a Border patrol guard, surprised by visiitors from his past who attempt to coerce him into helping them get up to no good with disastrous consequences.
Quite good, worth a look.

Death At A Funeral - Decent British comedy which made me laugh, it's not every film that features hallucegenic drugs and a gay dwarf.
Liked it.

Well with some technical support I'm downloading stuff for fun so my run at the latest stuff is pretty much unlimited except that I can't get the Dark Knight to play hence no review. Iron Man looks promising too,

Iron Man - Just about the best super hero movie I've watched. Robert Downey junior is very good in this and the special effects are very good. Doesn't take itself too seriously and gets it just right. See this if you can!

I thought it was better than X men, largely because of Downey's performance.

If it's better than X-Men I'll have to see if I can get hold of a copy as they were excellent films for that genre.

Romance & Cigarettes - John Turturro directed musical starring James Gandolfini & Susan Sarandon. Has an excellent cast and is surprisingly engaging, note Chris Walken bursting into Springsteen's "Red Headed Woman". Despite my general dislke for the genre I found myself enjoying this, it's a decent night in. Oh and the Coen brothers produced it.
Watch it.
