Two in two days?

I have no idea what happens now, as I think Ashley has put himself in an unbelievably unpopular position and the only manager he can possibly recruit to assuage the fans would be...you've guessed it KK. It is possible his best bet is to sell the club.

Might be right there Otto. Imagine if he makes another return. That would have to be some form of record surely?

What are the odds on Owen going to City? I actually reckon he might end up at somewhere like Everton or Villa.

Just as Sunderland look to be getting some premiership stability Newcastle seem to have thrown theirs down the pan. I don't think they will go down but it might be touch and go unless there's some sort of miracle.

It's going to be a hell of a struggle between now & January Andy but you may be settled enough to use that transfer window more wisely..

Feel for you Andy.
Same old, same old..............
The only people who suffer are the most important people, the supporters.
When you talk about Newcastle being a great club, it's only great for one reason - because it has great fans.

I honestly think Newcastle will be fine, they have more than enough quality to stay up, but all they need right now is some bleeding stablity!

As much as I'd like an away day at St James, we will be waving to you on our way past. Interestingly enough on Talk Sport this morning they were comparing the situation at Newcastle to the situation at Wolves at the moment. He commented on the high morale around the place and how ecstatic we all were to be top of the league - he said the club can thank Steve Morgan for being so ambitious with planning to rebuild the stadium and commented on how LFC must wish he'd bought them now instead of the two American owners. Amazing what a bit of continuity and a decent chairman can do eh? We now have one of the best sides we've had for well.. ages because the manager has been given the time to build his own team. Some Premier League clubs could learn a lot from us!

Let's not forget that one of the reasons Keegan fell out with the board was over Joey Barton.
Keegan wanted to keep him, do you really want a manager like that?
