Back in the day Bradford would be widely tipped for promotion before the season starts, but end up as perennial underachievers scrapping for survival.
Lets see what Phil Parkinson will do, but i'm holding my breath.

I've been quietly impressed with your signings so far actually Hoggy. Connell is a terrific signing and I'm surprised the likes of Rotherham and Fleetwood didn't sign him.
I think Darby is another good one for this level. Certainly sounds like he was highly rated by the other clubs he spent loans at.
You could shock us all by actually doing something in this league I think ;D

Initially I wasn't happy with the appointment of Phil Parkinson and wanted Colin Cooper to have a go at managing, but all this changed when Parky signed Kyel Reid on his first day. Last time City signed a natural left winger was in 2006 when Colin Todd recruited Lee Holmes on loan.
Parky appears to be a genuine and intelligent, quickly identifying City's problems and finding a solution. Not all signings were top recruits, not all tactics went to plan, a tendency to tinker with the team too much but he has created a squad nucleus with his signings and current players in a short space of time.
I'd like to think City will do well this season but there are no mugs in League Two and at least 12 teams capable of promotion.

Wow! Just wow! What a phenomenal season, achieved by a special group of players who have a mutual bond with the fans.
Where do I start - the League Cup run, finishing 7th when the playoffs looked out of reach after losing 4-1 to Exeter, beating Burton in the playoff semi-finals despite trailing 3-1 at one point, winning the playoff final in style?
12 years of decline finally stopped and most of these times were very desperate. Faith has been restored and the club now out of a very dark tunnel, who knows what will happen next season.
