Welcome to RHF: In The Spotlight. I am Wolvensam, and as a one off I will be interviewing our usual spotlight master FezNTFC - fondly known as Fezzybabes. The questions asked are interesting, crazy, whacky, serious, personal, intimate, and some are just downright rude!
This weeks member in the Red Hotseat is one of our many resident Cobblers, FezNTFC

Personal:
What is your name?
James Averill
How old are you?
16. I am 17 in 20 days though.
Which city/town/village do you currently live in?
I live in a village called Earls Barton just to the east of Northampton. It is quite a famous village. Our vicar is related to Andrew Lloyd-Webber, we had a movie about kinky transvestites based on a true story from our village. And apparently our local dish is Leek!
Tell us one thing we don't know about you?
Here are a couple because i am such an intriguing person.
1) I am distantly related to Princess Diana.
2) I have scored at Layer Road, Colchester.
Have you got an "Other Half"?
I am single i'm afraid. I can make a girl laugh, but thats about it.
What school do you go to?
I go to Wrenn School in Wellingborough. Years 7-11 we are quite an average school, but the Sixth Form is highly rated. We get better results than the Private school across the road though, which makes me laugh. Serves the fox hunting, 4x4 lovers right for shelling out £10k a year!
What subjects do you study and what are your favourite ones?
Last year i studied English Language, Drama, Media Studies and Politics. I have to drop one this year, and that will be based purely on the grades i achieve as i enjoy all my lessons.
What is your Goal in life?
My goal in life is to become a successful Journalist in a newspaper.
What is your favourite:
Band?
Tough one. I would say my top 4 are Muse, Feeder, Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand. But i'm also into older rock music as well such as Rolling Stones, T-Rex, Thin Lizzy. I'm into most types of music apart from Pop and all that Rap rubbish.
Album?
"The Singles" by Feeder is top quality. But i'd have to say "Employment" by Kaiser Chiefs. Nearly all the songs are worthy of a crazy dance and a good old sing-a-long.
Film?
Mike Basset is hilarious. But i'll go for Lord of the Rings. Everything about it is superb.
TV Programme?
Currently it is Top Gear. From yesteryear it's Fawlty Towers every time. I grew up with that comedy, and no matter how many times i watch it i still laugh as hard as ever.
Dinner Guest?
Obviously i want a good quality of meal, so Gordon Ramsey wouldn't be bad as he'd offer a bit of comedy as well as top notch grub. Frankie Boyle because of course he is the funniest man alive. Jack Charlton. I've met him twice and both times we talked for about 10 minutes in depth about the Cobblers and football in general. A very down to earth pleasent man. And of course Stuart Gray.
Meal?
I'm really into food, and there is so much choice. I'll go for Spaghetti Bolognese though.
Celebrity partner?
Kelly Brook is a bit of alright isn't she!
Football:
Who is your favourite Northampton player ever?
Ian Sampson. A committed centre back and a club legend. It helped that my dad was his kit sponsor so i spoke to him a fair bit as well.
Who is your favourite current Northampton player?
Giles Coke. He is pure quality and he should be playing in the Championship to be honest.
What was your first football match? Score? Where was it? ect
My first match was at Wembley. It was the 1997 Division 3 Play-Off final with the Cobblers playing Swansea. It was the biggest match in the clubs history. Our first time at Wembley and it was our centenary year, so it was a HUGE game. We won 1-0 with a re-taken 93rd minute free-kick from Joh n Frain. I'm priviledged that my first game was arguably the greatest we have ever had.
Your favourite Northampton memory?
For me it has to be Rotherham away in the 3rd Round FA Cup Replay. If we won we would play Man Utd at home in the next round. We were superb and won 2-1. The support from our fans was magical as well.
Your worst Northampton memory?
Losing to Mansfield on penalties in the Play-Off Semi Final in 2003. I bawled my eyes out because we had been robbed.
Opposition player you love to despise?
Billy Sharp. Not only was he a Diamond scumbag, but when he played for Scunthorpe and scored he started taunting us. It turned into one of the most heated games ever. We won it in the dying seconds with a Bradley Johnson goal. Needless to say Sharp sunk to the floor gutted. The stick he got from us was relentless.
Best goal you've ever seen live?
Bradley Johnson scored a truly awesome long range free-kick away at Swansea two season ago.
Worst blunder you've ever seen live?
It was the local derby against Rushden and Diamonds. We were drawing 1-1 when somehow their centre-back Rob Gier scored a lobbing own goal with a header. It was brilliant. Ian Dowie would have been proud of that one.
Do you play for a team yourself? Who are they? What league are you in?
Yer. I play for the Cobblers Fan Team. We are OK. I play centre-back or right back. We play in the IFA League, where we play other fans teams.
RHF:
Why did you join RHF?
It was a bit of a fluke actually. I rarely went on 606, but i was bored so went on it. Found the link to here, clicked it, and it was love at first sight.
Who is your favourite RHF member and why?
I love you all. But probably Olly. We have had some legendary conversations with each other.
What is your favourite thread on RHF?
I may be slightly biased here, but i'll go for the "Does Fez wear a Fez?" thread.
In a fight to the death between you, Sam, Tyler and Olly, who would come where and why?
Well. Olly would be quite threatening to begin with, but then he'd wee off to play Football Manager, so thats an early exit for him. Sam is the most frightening girl EVER, but i know she loves me so she wouldn't hurt me. Besides, she's too busy getting off with Dawsey to take it seriously. Tyler has the height advantage, however he seems to get wound up easily. I'd wee him off till he blew up. So i believe that leaves me. I'd win easily
Questions from the Members:
Why do you like infering you are gay?
There's two girls on here and both are taken, so you have to make do with what you are given I will categorically state now that i am 98% straight Find me another cyber woman and you will see my true colours
How long have you been supporting NTFC?
Well, my first game was 1997, so i make that 11 of my 16 years of existence.
Your now fat-why are you perceived in that way?
I once said i was a tad overweight to Tyler, and it spiralled out of control into full blown fat jibes. It's just not true. My mates say i have a "doughy physique", so i'm not completely fat.
Do you get ripped about being Ginger?
It's just hell. They shove my head down the toilet, tie my shoelaces together, punch me, kick me. It's not my fault someone farted on my head next to a camp fire and it all went horribly wrong!
Thats what i imagine a ginger to say, as i am in fact Blonde haired
Why did you give up your job as moderator on RHF?
I didn't give up. The admins told me there was no need for so many moderators so they politely asked me to step down. I agreed.
Bastards.
Do you have a partner?
Not a love partner. However, when i was young and pretended to be a superhero, my mate Dave and i became SuperJames and SuperDave to rid my garden of all the evils of the world. Does he count as a partner in crime?
Who is your favorite member to talk to and why?
All the members on here are good to talk to in their different ways. Everyone is insightful and uses dollops of wit. I love you all.
Who is your least favorite member to talk to and why?
Jettacop. As much as i try to talk to him he NEVER responds!
At the time of writing, you have three weeks exactly to claim victory in our bet. Do you fancy your chances?
No.
Does it make you sad inside that Mark Little and Daniel Jones will possibly not be returning to Sixfields this season?
At the end of last season the answer would have been yes. However, Liam Davis looks a quality player, so Daniel Jones is no longer key. Mark Little is undoubtably fantastic, however i think we already have a defence that could grace the Championship. While i'd love to have them here, they are no longer as key as they were last year. We need a striker more than anything.
Stuart Gray. Your opinions please?
I cannot speak highly enough of the man. He is simply a genius in the transfer market, picking up absolute bargains. What he has done with such a limited budget deserves a lot of recognition.
