news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bradford_city/9010141.stmLeague Two side Bradford City have signed former Aston Villa, Sheffield United and England midfielder Lee Hendrie on a short-term deal. The 33-year-old was without a club having left Derby in the summer.
"These next few weeks will be very interesting for me, and I will knuckle down," Hendrie told BBC Radio Leeds.
"I have to use this to build up my fitness and get back to my peak."
"I know what sort of man he is and out of all the managers I've played under he's been one of the better managers.
"He has always given me a bit of confidence, which at this moment in time I think I need to be honest.
"He has just said to me come here and come and enjoy your football, get yourself fit and get yourself going again."

A great coup by Peter Taylor, even if Hendrie is here until January he'll help City get into the promotion pack. He came on in the 2nd half against Gillingham on Saturday and was an influence, looked a bit rusty but City had a bit more bite in the final third.
The signing reminds me of when Chris Waddle came to Bradford in 1996 for a few months. His contribution helped City stay up in the Nationwide 1st Division and got to the 5th Round of the FA Cup.
