Stoke vs Spurs threw up an interesting problem with using goal line technology on Saturday. Without doubt (& the benefit of numerous replays) the header from Stoke's Jon Walters crossed the line &, if we had been using technology purely on whether a ball crosses the line or not, would have been given. However, seconds before that, also without doubt & right on the goal line, Shawcross pushed Gomes in to the net and therefore play should have been stopped and a freekick given at that point but would the proposed technology be used to spot that infringement?
