Agree with that, I don't know what they're doing putting Adebayor on TBH!
Good lineup, otherwise, though I thought Harry was doing the talkSPORT punditry?

Maybe he's been promoted as the "Man of the Moment"!

To be honest it's what I would have expected. The Beeb have alway had better coverage/pundits than ITV...mind you Sky has seriously improved of late...

Don't see an awful lot of Sky unless it's Spurs matches at my sisters. Andy Grey is terrific. However, when it's Alan Parry I always watch with the sound turned off as the man's a fool.

The World Cup coverage in the UK – overall the BBC has been a country mile better than ITV. ITV’s biggest mistake was cutting to adverts by accident in the middle of a game on its HD channel. It happened during the England v USA game and actually at the same time as Gerrard’s goal! The pundits for the ITV have been poor with Edgar Davids being a bit rubbish, Craig Burley not that good either. Not a fan of Chris Coleman either...
However, the BBC isnt perfect with Mick McCarthy avoid talking out of his backside. Adebayor was OK – he seemed to know his stuff but his accent is very strong so its sometimes hard to understand. However, he gets extra points for one of the moments of the World Cup when his mobile went off while he was talking to Gary Linekar live on TV.

Surprised to see John Motson as a pundit after the Mexico v Argies game, but IMO he's one of the best in the business as he's very insightful in this thoughts and doesn't state the obvious.

Can't remember which match it was now but one of the panels consisted of Alan Hansen, Clarence Seedorf & Jurgen Klinsmann with Gary as the presenter. Very intelligent, erudite guys who really know their football and, being foreign (except for Gary!), no obvious bias. Well, maybe a slight one in Hansen & Lineker's case but nothing as bad as Lee Dixon!
Could you get a better panel for Saturday night's MOTD?
