HAS RETIRED FROM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL
7 Goals in 62 which is 1 in nearly 9 games
1 in 9!!! and hes supposed to be the england "elite"
6000 miles out of position in this world cup and a few hundred in the last world cup.
He shudda retired inbetween 03 and 09 when he didnt score a goal for 6 years.
Bye heskey, hope we can find a replacement to match your abilities, or someone line DARREN BENT who was the 3rd top english goalscorer last season in the EPL cant recall you ever doing that.
So long farewell... DONT COME BACK!!

Only time I remember Heskey doing well was during the Steve McClaren era where he and Gareth Barry breathed life into the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign.
Sadly targetmen are rendered useless in international football unless they had scoring abilities to go with it.

Never been a fan of his but he did always seem committed to England unlike most of the prima donnas.
