Hoggys 1st Round Picks
Hartlepool United v Sheffield United Stockport County v Preston North End Chesterfield v Middlesbrough Stevenage v Portsmouth Aldershot Town v Watford Bradford City v Nottingham Forest
The home sides are likely to get good followings from the away teams - I can see Middlesbrough, Portsmouth and possibly Sheffield United selling out their away allocation.
Although a tough draw, i'm looking forward to a good crowd (hopefully 10,000+) to attend the Bradford v Forest game if the ticket prices aren't over the top.

Accrington Stanley could well be playing in front of a sell out crowd with Newcastle as the opponents. Healthy crowds for Morecambe and Hartlepool as they face Burnley and Wigan respectively.
Big pay days for Huddersfield, Shrewsbury and Oxford as they face Premier League opposition Everton, Stoke and West Ham in their respective games.
Potential giant killers:
Bradford v Preston - can the Bantams eliminate another Championship team? Crewe v Ipswich - can the Railwaymen send Roy Keane in a frenzy? Hartlepool v Wigan - Taken out Sheffield United in Round 1, Wigan went out to Notts County in last years FA cup......... Morecambe v Burnley - Morecambe already taken out Coventry in Round 1, can the Shrimps dump the Clarets?

Well, our reward for a fabulous win away at Reading is the tie I have always wanted, Liverpool away. Some may be aware that Liverpool are a team I have a very soft spot for, so it will be strange wanting them to lose. Well, I say lose...I want us to hammer them!!! ;D

Big shock of the round so far is Brentford beating Everton 4-3 on pens after a 1-1 draw. Burnley beating Bolton 1-0, by all accounts Owen Coyle got a hostile reception on his return to Turf Moor. Lee Hughes put Notts County in the lead against Wolves but the Pies lost 4-2 in extra time.
Scunthorpe having their "cup final" tonight while an interesting Lancashire Derby between Wigan and Preston, i'll be at the latter tonight.

Wigan v PNE...........what a game!
PNE should've been 2-0 up before Wigan scored twice in the last 3 minutes to steal the win. Superb breakaway by Charles N'Zogbia, a selfless one-two with James McCarthy and slots home to shatter Prestons dreams.

That result was brilliant Enya. Lets hope it kick starts your League season as well - although it didn't help yesterday.

That result was brilliant Enya. Lets hope it kick starts your League season as well - although it didn't help yesterday. Northampton probably had the easiest game in history yesterday. Would like to know how it's possible for the opposition to have 69% of possession and just one shot all day.

4th Round draws have been made
Newcastle v Arsenal Birmingham v Brentford Wigan v Swansea Aston Villa v Burnley Leicester v West Brom Man Utd v Wolves West Ham v Stoke Ipswich v Northampton
Giant cup killers (except Hartlepool) Northampton handed a modest tie against the Tractor Boys while Brentford visit Birmingham. Robert Martinez will be facing his old club, Swansea.
3 all Premier League ties, with 10 Prem teams already out can we see a non Premier League team in the final?
