.......Because they might tortured or killed? news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8688501.stmHow on earth can that be justified when the sub human scum attempted to kill innocent people? Human rights seem to work one way, for the benefit of the criminal.

I think there is an interesting comparison here between this and the way the Russians handled the terrorists/pirates who hi'jacked a Russian tanker. Their special forces descended on the tanker from a helicopter, shot one pirate and set the rest adrift in an inflatable boat with no navigation equipment. Several days later came the regretful announcement from Moscow that the remaining 11 pirates "may have perished". I take that to mean that a Russian in the helicopter flew over the "inflatable" dinghy and put a bullet into it. It shows how civilised we are to grant hospitality in one of our prisons to someone who probably wanted to cause major bloodshed in a big shopping centre. But I also ask myself how long it will be before a Somali pirate has a go at another Russian tanker...although I do no say I condone their actions

Why should an unspecified but possibly large number of our citizens have their rights put at risk to preserve the rights of a man who (even the judge says) is a terrorist?
Deport him and let him take his chances. No-one forced him to a) come here or b) to be a terrorist.

Or at least deport at the 1st EU country they set foot on, it's beggars belief why Britain gets the dregs of society.

They forfeited any call on "Human" rights when they decided that completely innocent people should die to make a point.

They forfeited any call on "Human" rights when they decided that completely innocent people should die to make a point. Really? So in your world all terrorists would have no human rights whatsoever? Society, or indeed individuals could do anything they want to them without any threat of reprisal from the law?
