Portsmouth's Richard Hughes admits he is ignoring injury to maintain his chances of playing in the FA Cup final.
The 30-year-old midfielder has elected not to have a hernia operation that would leave him only an outside chance of making the final on 15 May.
He told BBC Radio Solent: "We made the decision a couple of weeks back after the semi-final.
"I either had to have the operation then and practically rule myself out for the season or grin and bear it."
Hughes played all 90 minutes in Pompey's 2-2 draw with Bolton on Saturday.

Hmmmmmmmm.....
I can't decide whether I agree or not with what he's doing to be honest....

Can't really blame him though - it's the only highlight in a disastrous season.
