Thought i'd get this here ahead of the next season :]
Looking forward to next season, after initial dissapointment i have a sense of optimism that we can go and win more times than we lose, and give us 3-4 yeaes of stability, sorting out our finances and clearing the deadwood out and then we can make another shot at the top table, stronger and more ready than before!!!
The Tigers To Roar in the Npower Championship next season!!!
Can't wait for the fixtures to come out next year, hope we start at Scunny or one of our Yorks rivals :]
Premier League we don't care follow city everywhere!!!!

I've just been reading about some of the contracts you gave to players. Lunacy. Plus this: Hull chairman Adam Pearson has revealed that the Tiger's goal-shy strikers have cost the club a whopping £901,875 a goal this season. Pearson admitted the club are spending £195,000 a week on strikers, which in total this campaign has cost them £7.215m for a return of eight goals

Our contracts are ridiculous, duffen has destroyed the club with his innability (sp) to run a club And now Jimmy Bullard has decided he wants to see the rest of his contract out, looks like he likes the pubs here. The guy is a disgrace, the sooner were rid of his vile arrogance the better

I thought you were pleased when you bought Bullard Tiger. What changed your mind?

I wa pleased, however the fact he doesn't give a toss in the PL and goes out to pub on a friday night till 2am and most other nights of the week, why would he give a toss in the Npower leagues. He's arrogant and only thinks about whats going in his back pocket and likes to tell everyone in Weir Bar that he's Jimmy Bullard and he can do what the hell he likes as he's Mr Hull City.......tosser!!!!!

Theres a simple solution to the Bullard situation, give him the sack for turning up to work under the influence and putting the club into disrepute at the Gay Bar.

Good idea, but he'd probably sue us for his remaining wages, and we can't afford a £7million settlement plus fees in our state

Club Statement Hull City Association Football Club (Tigers) Limited ("Hull City" or "the Company")
Following the recent speculation in the media surrounding the financial position and future of Hull City, the Board have issued the following statement.
The main focus at this point in time is on the remaining 2 fixtures of the current season in order to try and secure an 18th place finish, and to continue business and operations as normal. Following the last game against Sunderland, the Board have accepted the inevitability of relegation to the Championship for the 2010/2011 season.
The consequences of relegation have a material impact on the revenues of the football club and, as has been widely reported, the Board have been meeting to discuss the management of the transition from the Premier League to the Championship. This should not be surprising and there are no plans or intentions for Hull City to enter into any form of insolvency process as has been suggested in the media.
The owner of Hull City, Russell Bartlett, said: "It is obviously very disappointing for everyone at the Club to have been relegated. As we had anticipated, we will need to reduce our outgoings to a level that is sustainable over the longer term. The management is working flat out to achieve this objective and I am very impressed with the commitment being shown by our staff." At least we're not planning for administration and we're gonna try and work our way out of this mess....lets hope it don't go tits up :]

Gotta love Stephen Hunt!!
A parting shot from our player of the year :
“The desire of most players has been good enough, but the more money you get paid, the harder you should work”
“You’ve got to set an example and unfortunately not all players have done that.
“The people of Hull deserve better and I have said that to certain people in the changing room.
“I’m not saying it behind their backs, I’ve said it to their faces, they know who they are. They might hate me for it but that’s the way I feel.”
Wonder who he's talking about ? Surely not our Jimmy ?
Really wish we could keep Hunty, he's the sort of blood and guts player we could use next year, and his class would absolutely shine in the Npower leagues, but he deserves Premiership football, and i hope he manages to do well wherever ha goe (maybe except wolves grrrrr@ MM!!)

Good coup by Hull but i'd like to know why Pearson has moved to another Championship club of similar stature?

Great move by Hull but good point by Desktop, I thought Leicester were gonna make a real push for promotion especially once they get rid of Kermogant and his chipped penalties... Strange move by Pearson and i've got a feeling it could backfire for him.

Come on young tigertiger nothing for three months, you're slipping. Today Russell Bartlett (owner) has renegotiated the Tigers payments so that all creditors will be paid in full over the next two years. Robert Koren signs on a free for two years (by that I mean a Bosman and not that he will not get paid) If we finish mid table I for one will be well satisfied. Need to get back to being in credit with a settled team before trying another tilt at the prem.

And so the abysmal away form continues. Millwall 4-0 Pusseycats. On that form relegation is a certainty but as we all know it's a very long season and there is room for improvement. Watford next saturday, need a win lads.

Wouldn't have expected you to get back immediately even with Pearson in charge but consolidation around mid table this season would be a good place to start from next year.

HULL 0-0 WATFORD .... Young Jay Simpson started today and showed some deft touches but did not have the start all the Tigers fans were hoping for. Liam Cooper also started and had a solid game, a young centre half to watch for in the future. Other youngsters that played, and did well, were Tom Cairney and Mark Cullen.
Away to Brentford in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

2-1 down at halftime at Doncaster, we have no defence, no manager, Nigel Pearson is in hospital undergoing tests.

2-1 down at halftime at Doncaster, we have no defence, no manager, Nigel Pearson is in hospital undergoing tests. A 3-1 drubbing, no where to hide, embarrassing, going to suggest we play with 10 forwards and hopefully score more than we let in.

Not the best of starts but not the worst either as the Championship looks a hard division to win this year.

Latest signing is Steven Gerrards cousin Anthony Gerrard a centre half from Cardiff City.
Also on his way in is Liverpools young defender Daniel Ayala but only if Anthony Gardner goes to Crystal Palace.
Paul McShane is out of the Irish squad with a hamstring problem.
Dean Windass (everyone knows Deano) scored a hat-trick when making a one off appearance for Barton Town. ( we sure could do with him now )

Cardiff 2-0 Toothless Tigers ... still can't score, had chances, the back four need more time to gel, should be right by next march, still think mid table will be an excellent result this season.

Was at Turf Moor to witness Hull crash to a 4-0 defeat to Burnley
Burnley pretty much controlled the entire game, reason being Hull keep backing off whenever Burnley have the ball and didn't put much in the way of tackles. The passing from both sides have been brilliant, both sides strung several passes an attack and kept the ball on the deck.
Hulls heads went for the pointless handball while defending a corner and the 4th goal, a goalmouth scramble where the ball should've been cleared rather than being in the goalmouth.
Credit to the travelling faithful, must've been at least 1500 there who travelled some 100 miles to see such filth but kept on singing.
