* Under a transfer embargo for most of the season * A wafer thin squad plagued by injuries * Could only name 4 subs at best for most part of the season * Players who did start were carrying knocks and niggles * Having to ask the headteachers permission to play Year 10 pupil Jordan Stockley on midweek long distance trips
Yet Eddie Howe guided Bournemouth to League One with little fuss. What a phenomenal achievement and IMO Eddie deserves 2010 BBC Sports Personality of the year award.

LOL Joe!
It was a fantastic achievement under the most horrendous pressures and certainly deserves League Two manager of the season at the very least.

Imagine Howe with a competitive budget? Bournemouth could be playing Premier League football within 7 years. Howe should do the UEFA Pro Licence for free. Fabio Capello and the FA should be having Howe under their wing to become future England manager.

Fantastic achievement from Eddie and the lads. I won't mention that we beat them three times this season though
