Well I think we all know the outcome of this match... Or do we?? We said that about the Spurs - Pompy game on sunday!
With nothing to play for having being confirmed relegated a day before their 2-0 semi-final win over spurs, could Avram Grant and Portsmouth have a chance of causing another massive shock and upset?
AG, and the Portsmouth administrator are hastily trying to talk to players and teams where bonuses will be triggered after another game is played to either weive or postpone payments in order to have a full team available.
As it stands I think Chelsea will almost cirtainly hammer them, but time will tell with how things pan out.

Personally couldn't care what the outcome is, i'll either be partaking in some county cricket or watching the Scottish Cup Final where an underdog is partaking.

I really hope Pompey can do this - their fans deserve it after all they've had to put up with this season. Have to say that coming away from Wembley having lost to them was about the worst I've felt being a Spurs supporter that I can remember. However, it was softened by the unbelievable atmosphere created by both sets of fans - but Pompey's in particular.

indeed, it will be really nice to see the pompy win, with the season they have had
win or lose i think in the situation of the club has been in this season, getting to the FA Cup Final has been a small mirical, and dispite relegation their season has been quite successfull.
Im other news, portsmouth have been given a boost as lens have allowed Aruna Dindane to complete the season and play in the FA Cup final without triggering a £4m fee.

That should give them a boost.

Cheers to Portsmouth for a great cup run and for having great supporters. I wish them good luck sorting out their issues and hopefully returning to the Premier League soon.

Couldn't agree more Otto even if they weren't my second team. I think it's disgraceful that points deductions & not being allowed entry to the Europa League just condemns fans to despair & does nothing to punish the owner/board/directors that got them in to this position in the first place. Sadly, I feel that it will be some years before they get back to the prem as it's going to take a very rich owner to get the infrastructure in place before even trying to recapture recent glories. A new training ground & stadium are required BEFORE gaining promotion this time as you can't sustain a successful Premiership side on gates of 22,000.
