Has anyone been? Twas in Preston on Tuesday and needed to burn some time before going to work so I decided to have a look. If anyone who is near Lancashire one day, it's well worth a visit and it's free entry too. To see the history of association football under one roof is simply an amazing experience. Theres this massive board which has the final league tables since 1888 to the 07-08 season, naturally had to study where Bradford finished in the leagues since 1903. Seeing the first game on camera (I think it was Blackburn Rovers v Derby back in the 1890s was mindblowing) There was even a clip of the 1911 FA Cup Final Replay between Bradford City and Newcastle United So many trivia and facts to learn about the beautiful game, particularly in the 1st 40 years that this thread would be very long. I was shocked on how Arsenal got "promoted" to the 1st Division, how womens football could have been as competitive as the mens game if the FA allowed it to expand.

You can see why Spurs dislike Arsenal so much when reading about that "promotion" can't you? And that was well before the Sky 4!

Feel sorry for the Barnsley fans who finished 3rd in Division Two at the time. They should've had a promotion/relegation playoff with Spurs.
