Are too on the edge.
Their game with Telford 2nite had been called off followint a collapse of a rescue deal from the Leeds County Council.
Another team hitting new lows will it ever stop??

So as Farsley suffer, Telford did well for themselves, arranging a last minute friendly against Wolves. To which feilded a reasonibly strong line up.
4-0 the final score to telford.
not sure on the attendence on this cold night, but the game was proced £5 across the board.
Made the most of a bad situation i think.

Good do by the AFC Telford
Speaking of embarrasing friendly defeats by Wolves, did they get beat 6-0 to Morecambe sometime ago?

Farsley Celtic have been removed from the Conference North news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/8563993.stmReason why the administrators rejected the Farsley consortium offer because they received a bigger offer for the land and property from someone else, believing to be a property developer. Quite simply it's a massive kick in the teeth for the club as they have over 300 youth team players in the books.

Here is a full blown on account why Farsley Celtic went out of business and what they are to do next. Dear All
Please can you spare a few minutes of your time to help show your support for those people who are trying to rescue Farsley Celtic Football Club.
Just a few weeks ago the club were forced into Liquidation by the Administrators Mazars who consistently blocked a deal being reached to rescue the club, despite agreement being reached with all the major creditors.
The stumbling block as it turned out were the Administrators themselves who were demanding in excess of £200,000 for their involvement in the whole sorry saga. These vultures held out to the bitter end rejecting 3 revised offers from long serving Club President John Palmer. He has supported the Club with his own money for over 38 years and was desperate to save the club for the supporters and the community.
The latest rescue bid was supported by Leeds City Council who were also willing to put money in to the rescue bid and in the local paper their spokesman said that there was no reason why agreement should not have been reached except for the greed of the administrator.
These people are parasites and should not be allowed to kill off a club with a long and proud 102 year history. They knew by forcing the Club to be liquidated, and by selling off the land and facilities to the highest bidder they would have 1st call on any money raised to cover there scandalous fee’s. In fact since all this came out into the open they are claiming that there are a further £100,000 of fees that they have previous failed to disclose.
There were in excess of 20 different teams that were run from Farsley Celtic, right from the 1st Team who played in the Blue Square North right down through the age groups to the Junior teams.
Now Throstles Nest is up for sale John Palmer and his consortium have tabled a bid to buy the ground and surrounding land back to try to reform the club for next season. It will mean dropping down 2 divisions to the Unibond North League in the same way Halifax Town did.
The reserves and the Under 19 youth team (Captained by my son James) are being allowed to finish their respective seasons which is very nice of the Parasites, and James is heavily involved in both teams. The plan next year is to build the new team around the reserves and some of the Youth team but it all rests on the Palmer bid being accepted.
The Farsley Celtic supporters club are trying to persuade any other potential bidder for the ground and surrounding land to leave the way clear for the Palmer Consortium to complete the purchase unchallenged so the club can be saved and reformed.
Could I ask that you click on the link below and register your support by signing the petition. These people who probably never played the game in their life, and do not understand what the club means to the local community should not be aloud to kill this Football Club.
Thank you, for your help & if you know any one else who would be willing to sign the petition please forward it on.www.backthepalmerbid.com
