World number one golfer Tiger Woods has been hurt in a car accident in Florida, his office has confirmed.
Initial reports said he had been seriously injured, but his agent Mark Steinberg later told US TV station CNBC that Woods was "fine".
A local mayor said Woods had been treated for facial lacerations.
The golfer's car reportedly struck a fire hydrant and tree as he pulled out of the driveway of his home, according to local media reports.
Associated Press news agency, quoting the Florida Highway Patrol, says an inquiry into the crash is under way.

The story was initially reported by the Orlando Sentinel newspaper, which also cited the Florida Highway Patrol.
An official was quoted as saying the accident, which happened at 0225 local time (0725 GMT), was not alcohol related.
The airbags in the car did not deploy during the crash, the reports said, which would suggest a low speed of impact.
Woods owns a property in the suburb of Isleworth, an exclusive area near Orlando.
BBC Golf correspondent Ian Carter says the golf world was in shock as news of the accident emerged.
Currently the world number one, Woods has won 14 major titles.
Good to hear he's OK, it was heart in mouth for a while!
