So what should happen, in your opinion?
I think that banning Henry from SA is a must, as well as docking France 3 points in the group stages,
OR
REPLAY THE BLOODY GAME, YOU GUTLESS FOOLS AT FIFA!!!
What do you think about it?

Nothing will happen as if they did anything other than allow the result to stand it would destroy the "Referee's decision is final" maxim. And they definitely can't do that in the year of Respect for referees.

You can't replay the game (as much as I'd like them too) If they did that it would open a whole can of worms and where would it stop, every single team has benifited from unsportsman like conduct yeah it looks bad but if it wins you a league/cup/match you take it because it's happened against you before.

Right, if I were elected in as FIFA President tomorrow, I'd use these rules:
1) Games can be replayed only if the ref has missed the incident in question, or misinterpreted the rules. 2) The goal in question must be a winner or an equiliser, halfing defecits isn't worth it! 3) The incident must be within 2 passes of the goal being scored - build up again doesn't count! 4) The ref of the game must agree that he'd've disallowed the goal if he'd seen the incident (if it was a missed incident, not a misinterpretation) 5) Only goals being scored or disallowed directly count, denied penalties, dives etc don't warrant a replay!
All the above points must be met for it to be replayed!
Simples!

Or maybe FIFA could see sense for once, and reilise that Henry's country shouldn't be there, and actually do something about it?

Working on the assumption that Ireland would have won the shootout?
I don't agree with the idea of games being replayed. Bad decisions are part of the game and much as they hurt, they've gotta be accepted. Plus....I'm sure no team wants a repeat of Uzbekistan's qualifying campaign for the World Cup in 2006. They beat Bahrain 1-0 in the first leg of a playoff, but submitted a complaint against the referee. FIFA ordered the game to be replayed and it finished 1-1 before the second leg finished 0-0 and Bahrain went through to play Trinidad and Tobago on away goals. ;D

It wasn't a bad decision, though, somehow all 4 officials managed to miss it!
Ireland were on top until then, and could have definitely won it without a shoot out, which is the least they should have been entitled to!
