I am in two minds over this...I can see both points. One people should be allowed to wear what they like. On the other hand it keeps Muslim women (at least who wear it) separated from the rest of the community. The other thing is that it makes women look subservient. Only the one sex wears it, which I think is unfair. If it is so important why not both sexes?

I can't see any harm at an event like a presentation, it's when they try to wear them inappropriately at work that I object.
