No reflection on Maierhofer as I actually think he looks quite a good player but I can see why Vienna were willing to let him go. His replacement, Jelavic, gave Celtic a pretty torrid time early on last night and looked a very good player indeed. However, Celtic were very unlucky not to get all three points after a disastrous start as they gradually got the upper hand & made a lot more clear chances than Vienna but couldn't put them away. Fox & N'Guemo were very impressive for the Hoops.

Jelavic was lighting last night but he was up against a central pairing who appear to have the mobility of your average household kettle! They didnt impress me overall, they sat back and tried to hit us on the break but their passing was poor imo. We should have got all 3 points but the truth is this squad do not have the strength do compete well at this level yet. Danny Fox is doing very well and just hope he can keep up these performances, as is N'Guemo. Brown isn't on the best run of performances I just hope he can turn it round on Sunday...Ah Sunday that should be interesting!

I thought Jelavic's positioning & movement were great Gerry - reminded me of Pav! Have to agree that Brown &, I thought, McGeady didn't do it last night & you are lacking just that bit of class to turn matches at the moment but Mowbray has you playing some pretty slick football at times.

McGeady was just returning from a knock and seemed to tire. Think it was a huge mark of respect that they had at least 2 guys around him as soon as he got the ball. He is the main guy we will look to on Sunday. Nervous already these games are a wee bit special
