An amazing Sheffield derby, there!
United were 3-0 up at half time, but were pinned back to 3-2 by a never-say-die Wednesday, to win the 'other' derby this round of matches, with the Manchester derby and a London derby being played over the weeekend.
A Chris Morgan header set up Jamie Ward to fire in the opener for United, before Darius Henderson poked in a Ched Evans shot.
Lewis Buxton headed into his own net for the third but, in the second half, Marcus Tudgay (remember him?) pulled one back with a well hit volley.
Owls' ssub Etienne Esajas set up a tense finale scoring a fizzing free-kick, but the Blades held on, even threatening a 4th, as skipper Morgan went close with two headers.
The win leaves United in 4th, and Wednesday in 12th, at this early stage in the Championship table.

Find it difficult to watch football on television but this game certainly caught my attention. Wasn't much in the way of crunching tackles either and the game was generally played in the right spirit. Whats money on the Manchester derby getting marred with an unsavoury incident and SAF bitching on about a referees decision?
The other Friday, went to watch the Morecambe-Rochdale game. Morecambe 3-0 up at half-time and looked in complete control, only for Rochdale to come back fighting and made it 3-3 by 66 minutes. An engrossing 24 minutes remained, Rochdale scored a fourth but only the goal to be ruled offside. Both Morecambe and Rochdale had sitters to win the game but didn't it wasn't to be.

Unfortunately that game wasn't available here, I read the reports today and it sounded a humdinger.
