Any idea how the byes are decided? I am pleased we got one though, we have an outside shot of winning this if we play our first team.

Pretty pleased that Bradford have avoided Huddersfield, Rochdale away is a winnable game. Would love a trip to Wembley next year, just to have a few tinnies on the grass verge outside The Greyhound pub amongst fellow Claret fans and have a few sing-songs if owt else.

Personally I think it should be done by last seasons league placings, but that would have meant we wouldn't have got one, so I'm happy!

Might be just a paint pot match but I came out of Spotland with a massive grin on my face (and all the way home to the pub too) Due to work, it's not often I go and watch Bradford but the last time I saw City play so well was against Crewe Alexandra in the FA Cup, back in 2006. League Two football requires a desire to win the ball and the Bradford players did that. The way a City player had options to pass the middle or even down the flanks often found a team-mate, which alone created plenty of opportunities. Even when Bradford went 1-0 down in the 2nd half, there was so much determination from the City players to get back into the game. At first it was the case of Bradford players redeeming themselves but minutes later, the Rochdale half was peppered with Bradford attacks and eventually Michael Flynn scored a free kick which was struck so hard that the Dale keeper went in the goal too. After that it was looking for another goal, winger Scott Neilson, a new signing from Cambridge City was terrorising the Rochdale defence like a little boy in a toy shop. Eventually having the ballaxe to have a shine on goal from 25yds which a pass to a team mate was easier deflected off a Dale defender and into the goal it went. Dale rarely threatened late on and City won the game. If City keep up the determination and desire throughout, then we're destined for the playoffs or even a visit to Wembley

Going all the way up there on a Tuesday night once a season is more than enough. Gillingham away would be fantastic mind, just for the banter with the Gill at work. Failing that, we haven't been to Barnet for a few years, so I wouldn't mind a night out there.
