Tough decisions to make
Rotherham have played well in the last two seasons, without a points deduction and new investment they've got a solid chance.
Northampton Towns unattractive yet effective football will fire them back up for the 1st time of asking.
Rochdale still have the nucleus of the squad from the last couple of seasons, after 35 consecutive seasons of 4th tier football this will be their season.
Grimsby Town have recruited well and under the guise of Mick Newell, I feel they will be a surprise package.
Bradfords Chances
It's very hard to say, there is a lack of depth in centre midfield at the moment and a lack of experience in the nets. 1st choice keeper is Simon Eastwood on loan from Huddersfield, a former England u18 and u19 internation and the only 1st team experience is 12 games for Woking although he kept 6 clean sheets. Citys best chance of promotion was last season and the opportunity just went after a disastrous run of form and Stuart McCall feeling the pressure.
Despite the budget cut from £1.9 Million to £1.3 Million we've recruited Zesh Rehman, Simon Ramsden and Gareth Evans so the squad has been enhanced in some ways. Other signings have been:
Jon Bateson: Right/Centre Back from Blackburn Academy
James Hanson: Striker from Unibond Premier League side Guiseley
Steve Williams: Centre Back from Unibond Premier League side Fleetwood
Missing Omar Daley until Christmas will be a massive blow but Chris Brandon returns from a season long injury. A relatively injury free season and the new signings gelling in, City are capable of finishing in the top 7. Fabian Delph going to Man City for around £12 Million so City can receive 15% of the transfer fee as he was nicked from our youth team.
