Good luck to Rhyl, Glentoran and Bohemians - would be brilliant if any of them made the group stages!

shame all 3 have very difficult draws though, all playing top sides from pretty decent leagues so probably all get hammered

Rhyl might win it this year, they have a formidable squad.

Did you go to the away leg in the end Gerry? I was at the Emirates tonight for the game and I am sad to say Celtic were outclassed to be honest. Arsenal deserved to win although Donati's goal was fantastic.

I've just read that Eduardo's dive for the penalty was so embarrassing that they wouldn't show the replay on the big screens at half time.

Thankfully I knocked back the 2 tickets for the away leg after my huge f*ck up of going to the 1st game on my anniversary! Yeah no complaints about the outcome, didn't really learn anything new from the game Arsenal are a better side than us, but my god they are a bunch of whining moany cheating twats. I don't get why Eduardo dived, the game was in no danger his team were going through, he's a cheat! What's the difference between what he done and 'bloodgate' the arseholes on Sky (Keys) said he was 'clever'! Clever? This was the same guy who wanted a monkey'sing UN enquiry when Chelski got knocked out of the CL by Barca! The thing that does leave a sour taste is there really was no reason to do it, and for a guy who has come back from a career threatening injury to then cheat other pro's makes me wonder do footballers actually like football?

I agree. In fact the evidence should be presented and he should be punished with a 3 match ban.

Aye Rover, there was not a single replay shown at the ground whereas every other chance/goal had one straight after... My instant reaction (despite being quite high up and being surrounded by incensed Arsenal fans calling for "the Polish cunt" to be sent off) was it didn't look like a pen. The way he went down made it look like he had been shot but I wasn't convinced there was contact and I was proved right obviously.
Disappointing by Eduardo though.

The packet of crisps and a cheeky smile has always been a hypocrite with very selective vision.

That's the thing he admitted he saw this one though! I'm in limbo for their game against Man Utd now, normally I'd favour arsenal...now I'm praying for a swarm of killer bees ;D

I've just read that Eduardo's dive for the penalty was so embarrassing that they wouldn't show the replay on the big screens at half time. That's another of EUFA's stupid rules Arover. They never show replays at European matches (or not at Spurs where the announcer said it was a EUFA regulation).

Well the little cheating cunt has been charged! How will justice seen to be done in this one though? What is justice in this case? How does say a 2 game ban give Celtic justice?

It can't be done in retrospect can it? The only answer is video evidence but, for some reason, none of the footballing authorites seem to favour this despite the evidence of it working for cricket, tennis & rugby.
