Well we are all bored in closed season so I thought I would post a pointless debate to get you going...
Question-Where do you think Manchester United would finish if playing in La Liga?

If they were all like Ronaldo on the beach. If like McGrath in the bar.
At the moment it's hard to say as Man U are surely going to sign more players and we don't know if Real's super stars will gel or not but I would say probably behind Barcelona. I think it's a bit of a fantasy that our players do not possess the technical ability of foreigners as the best of ours (Gerrard, Rooney, Aaron Lennon, Joe Cole etc.) are the equal of, if not even better than, the majority of Spanish - just may be not as good as the very best.

I don't think they would finish top...but in the top 3.

They'd soon attract the Spanish gloryhunters from places like Malaga and the like, and finish 2nd!

They wouldn't cope with the attacking nature of La Liga and finish 3rd-5th.

Would be battling the likes of Athletico and Villareal for 3rd,4th,5th, Barca are too good for them and Real have the money to put a fantastic team together, they would struggle with the pace in La Liga and personally 5th would be very likely

Not sure - Roy is more past it than Giggs & Scholes.

A lot would depend on whether they could keep Blackie Gray fit.

Yes - otherwise they'd never stop David Villa.

Everyone knows Roy of the Rovers Stealth, even us sprites!! Out of interest didn't Roy lose a foot in the end and if so then I doubt Melchester would be as good as with Roy in his prime.

If Roy lost a foot he'd still be better than anyone else.
It was rumoured Melchester were attempting to sign Billy the Fish too.

Billy the Fish!! Now there's a brilliant comic strip - the water puns were so obvious but still hilarious.
