Same as last season - you have three choices as to who you think will gain promotion from the Championship in the season 09/10. Please state who you think will finish 1st, 2nd and who will go up via the play-offs.

So you don't think you'll bounce straight back Andy? nope not a chance stealth and id rather not tbh as bad as that sounds id rather take 2-3 years find our feet and come back up with stability.

I think that's probably a sensible attitude Andy. After all the turmoil this season (& with it still continuing after Ashley putting the club back up for sale) you need a bit of stability. Also, if Shearer does stay, he's an untried manager & he'll probably need a while to learn the ropes. Better doing that in the Championship than in the full glare the Premiership brings.

Oooooh tough decision
One team I'm reasonably confident of winning promotion is Preston North End, not sure about the other two though.
Bristol City are potential darkhorses and Roberto Di Matteo has the nous to fire West Brom back up to the top flight.
Hard to say whether to include Newcastle or not at this present time. If a new owner with plenty of money comes in and appoints a prolific manager, then Newcastle will buy their way to the Premier League.
Sheffield United won't even get close to the playoffs and Reading won't be the same force without Coppell.

Sadly the Albion are looking a good bet at the moment - 24 points from 13 games isn't a bad return, we had 28 this time last year. Hopefully the best derby in the world will be played in the Premier League next year for the first time.

When I went to the Moulinex for the Wolves-Bradford cup tie two years ago, there was a couple of West Brom shirts amongst the Bradford support.

Funny how the one time we get a troublemaker, and it's a Leeds fan... what a bizarre coincidence...
