The pain will fade with time.
That won't make you feel any better now though.

I know how it feels to be relegated, I remember being in league 1 when we got relegated, never experienced any feeling like it before, I was absolutely gutted.

Oh, i've seen us relegated 3 times before, i know how it feels. But this one is just a little bit more gutting because we had a good enough squad ability wise to stay up. It was a lack of tactical nous and lack of application that has seen us relegated.

Our squad had more than enough quality to stay in the division.

Don't worry, you'll walk League 2 with that squad and a capable manager.
Try John Sheridan!

Chris Dunn, Mark Hughes, Jason Crowe and Giles Coke offered new contracts.
Chris Doig, Leon Constantine, Colin Larkin and Greg Taylor released.
AT LAST!!!!!!! LEON IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!
On a more sombre note, I'm gutted we've had to get rid of Doigy. He's been a great servant of the club, but he spent to much time on the treatment table. Hopefully he can get a new contract somewhere else.

I heard he was going to Orient. I'd be very surprised if a League One club came in for him to be honest.

Yes. You boys weren't bad but i'll see better sides this year. You might've scored 2 but it didnt seem like you had many chances.
A special mention goes to your keeper, made some good saves.

Simon Eastwood getting praised He's made several schoolboy errors at the start of the season but I think it's down to confidence. I'll take that as a point gained despite the late equaliser. With a young squad, we're bound to do something similar at some point this season.

I mentioned it to my mate at the end that you lot must be easily pleased if you're clapping a squandered 2-0 lead

I mentioned it to my mate at the end that you lot must be easily pleased if you're clapping a squandered 2-0 lead If it was last season, most City fans would be livid including myself. General consensus it's disappointing but the players continue to play with hunger and desire, something which has been missing in the last 10 years.

I thought your fans were a credit to the club. The same cannot be said about Stuart McCall and his post-match comments. To say the ref gave a record number of free-kicks against you is absolutely outrageous! For a start, 11 isn't all that many. The second point is that we didn't get a free-kick in your half until stoppage time in the first half, so how does he work that one out?
Also, you didn't control the game. Both teams had 15/20 minute spells, and overall a draw was a fair result. I just can't believe he's made the comments he has when statistics and common sense prove he is wrong.
Overall though, an enjoyable match with good away support (pooe home support once again I hasten to add) and a stirring comeback. I'm 100% certain we wouldn't have got that point if we were 2-0 down under Stuart Gray, and full credit to Sammo for making the changes that gained us a point when all looked lost.

Oi oi, Bradford Boyyy I had some Bradford fan telling me how we wont bring as many to your place as you did to ours.... Someone didn't look at the fixture list, did they Going back 3 years ago in League One, the Northampton support was one of the largest that came to Valley Parade. Whilst it was heart wrenching that Northampton scored an injury time winner, didn't mind too much that it was the legend that was Kenny Deuchar who did the deed.
