Manager Dean Saunders promised a swift recruitment drive at Wrexham after their shock FA Cup exit to Eastwood.
"I won't even try to make excuses, we just have to get more talent into the club," he said after the 2-0 defeat.
"We had three great league results that gave us breathing space, but now I have to hurry the recruitment process up.
"Some of the players have had a chance and they're not good enough. The loss was unacceptable - if I manage for 30 years more that will be the low point."
The defeat was Saunders' first since his surprise appointment as Wrexham boss at the start of the month.
The former Wales and Liverpool striker has led the Dragons to three consecutive Blue Square Premier wins and a 0-0 home draw with Eastwood in Saturday's FA Cup fourth qualifying round.
But the defeat at Coronation Park meant that Wrexham failed to make the first round proper of the Cup for the first time in 84 years.
"It's easy to say now that we're concentrating on the league, but this club is famous for its Cup runs," Saunders told BBC Sport Wales.
"I've won the Cup myself, and I want to win every game that I play in.
"Well done to Eastwood, but they never tried to beat us. They sat back, asked us what we had, and we didn't have enough.
"We created nothing, even when we had four up front at the end.
"Not enough talent on show. I have players in mind, it's my job to get them in and motivate them."
Deano now knows the score and midfield ,midfield, midfield. -- Little couldn't see the problem I worry now about Deano as he saw the problem and Allen got injured.
