Red hot Spurs. With Bentley. Did you see the friendly last night Arover? Completely changed my mind about Bentley already as, apart from scoring, he put in four excellent crosses plus,as I said elsewhere, I'll forgive him for the Under 21 thing - as he's a Spurs fan.

No I didn't see it but Bentley is a really good crosser of the ball, the most accurate since Beckham.

I know it's early & I wasn't convinced, initially, that he'd be an improvement on Lennon. However, I'm already persuaded he'll make a huge difference to us because, as you say, superb crosser & with Bent being good in the air & on fire who knows how many goals could result?

Would like to see all lamp posts in the country fitted with solar panels or mini wind turbines. It might not be a main source of electricity for the nation but it will significantly reduce the carbon emissions and eliminate the need to build turbines in the countryside.
Supermarkets are building micro wind turbines to supply their own electricity, which is a good step in the right direction. If industrial units and factories did the same then carbon emissions will go down further.

As usual it's industry which are slowest on the take up. I reckon more households have them than industrial units!

The Nissan plant up here has its own wind turbines. Shame its cut loads of its staff so doesn't need as much power any more.

Got a guest lecture on Climate Change at the Poles this afternoon that I'm sorely tempted to go to. Will see how I feel after squash, but could be some pretty interesting stuff to report back.
