I hate warmth!
I'm not used to 20 degrees upwards.

It actually got to the extent where I fainted yesterday (another nice trip up to the hospital there) and I didn't get to sleep last night until half past 3 because the heat was unbearable.

I'm with you & Ben - can't stand the heat myself especially when combined with humidity. Up to 22/23 C is my comfort zone.

16-18 degrees is perfect for me. Anything more or less and I just complain.

I was going to go outside and amuse my puppy for a few hours, but once I stepped outside and felt the heat I decided against it. We're walking to my nans for Sunday dinner later and she lives about 2 miles away - that should be interesting!! I was offered a bike ride but I told my parents to sod off. My nan phoned just to say she's got her fire on too, jesus christ.

God bless old people eh. I'm going to my nan's for dinner after work as well, and I bet my life she has the fire on as well!

It's 21 degrees here.
I prefer it to be 10 or below with a nice, bracing breeze.

My nan never has the fire on, after years of being married to a Scot she became very frugal and just wears extra clothes

My nan has her fire on constantly, or the heating - I go into her house and can barely bloody breath!!

Oh no! Got to mow the lawn now and I don't want to leave the safety of the kitchen with its cool floors and work surfaces.
Sunderland airshow was on today, decided not to go because its too bloody hot. Might go to a gig tonight, at least i'll be indoors then.

If I want to go and have dinner with my gran, I have to walk out of my front door and then jump over the low wall into next door's front garden and knock on their door. That's right, I live next door to my gran.

I wish my gran lived next door. My room is directly next to my neighbour's main bedroom and I hear them arguing at ungodly hours in the morning - either that or I hear them shagging each other's brains out. They woke me up at 6am before arguing - grr.

I used to live just down the road from her.
Used to go up all the time because she would lavish me and grandad with great food and a cup of tea every hour.
Good times...

My gran is alright but my grandad is a miserable old bastard with OCD (he doesn't realise he has it but he definitely does).

My grandad is Scottish - says it all. No offence Sleepy. He's a miserable bastard and lives with the 40 year old woman who he cheated on with my nan with, he is about 75 by the way. I remember once when he forgot my birthday. ;D

Record their antics Sam and then play it back for all the street to hear, might just work. I have asked my mum and dad before if I can change bedrooms with them but they told me to sod off. When you're trying to sleep it's off putting hearing next door's bed banging against your wall

My grandad on my dads side was Scottish and he was a lovely man (apparently, I was two when he passed away so didn't know him) his only vice was that he wouldn't spend money on anyhing.

Three of mine have gone, only my Dad's mam is left. She turned eighty one the other day. I spent ages round there talking about family that day. Most of her grandkids are really intelligent and going into professional careers, two are already qualified opticians then there's me and my cousin who is a year older going into medicine. She was wondering what my grandad, a humble joiner, would have said about this. I like to think he would have ridiculed me and told me to get a proper job like joining.

Out of all of my nan's grandkids I am considered the most intelligent so that says it all really!

I daresay I am out of my cousins as well, the problem is i'm also the biggest procrastinator. There's a few of us who are so laid back we're horizontal.

Oh yes, I'm definitely the biggest procrastinator. Countless times last year I left my coursework until the very last minute, I'm just lazy in general really.
I think my youngest cousin is more intelligent than me in certain areas - especially Maths!

Hahaha, I love rivalry against my cousins.
I realised long ago that rivalry against my sister is pointless, i'll never be as good at gymnastics as she is no matter how much she tries to teach me how to do stuff.
So I turned on my cousins and compete against them in anything imaginable.
