Well what do you think...before you jump in think about it....gate prices etc...not quality of football...
I do feel fans get ripped off. It won't be too long before capacity's drop for it.. the problem at a lot of the big clubs is if you want to give up your Season Ticket someone else will snap it up hence they can get away with charging ludicrous prices.
Spurs prime example of that.. how they can bump ST's up to as much as £1100 for next season after the season they've had is beyond me (sorry Stealth)........

Christ! Is that what the West stand season tickets are now? That's more than a months wages (after tax) for many people so it's becoming a sport for the rich now.
Before long all the genuine fans will be relegated to just watching their team on TV in edited highlights with the occasional live match. Once this happens the crowd noise & atmosphere will have disappeared so will the players still want to come to the Prem?

As I said on the Van Persie thread ever increasing players salaries will eventually threaten an implosion within the game.
Its different to any other business but a business neverthless.

There have been one or two articles recently about football being impervious to the usual "profit at any cost" business rules but I agree with you Rover. As the cost of having a football club as a play thing escalates there just won't be enough people who are able to afford it & then it has to come in to the realms of REAL business.

In football terms then it is the best by far. When it comes to off-the-pitch then I'm not too sure. Like Otto said, with season tickets rocketing people just can't afford it. I agree with everything that has been said. The problem is that because the Prem attracts some of the best players in the world, wages will inevitably rise meaning that we have to pay more in order for the club to cover the expenditure. It's a massive price to pay but it's the problem we must face now.

It's a bit boring now as well with same teams finishing in same places.
