I'm happy and i think we'll get it, we have the right stadia (Pride Park would be considered), great passionate fans, right temperature and lots of people would love to travel to London!

Yeah i hope we get it, and hopefully by then we shall have the team to compete, would give the whole nation a boost to in terms of re-development of public transport etc, and just a general feel good factor, especially if we were to reach the latter stages

Surely they'd use Wembley, Old Trafford, the Emirates and maybe Anfield?

Surely they'd use Wembley, Old Trafford, the Emirates and maybe Anfield? The stadiums that currently meet Fifa requirements are Wembley, Old Trafford, Emirates, St. James Park, Stadium of Light, City of Manchester, Anfield, Villa Park, Stamford Bridge, Goodison Park and Elland Road. That's in terms of capacity. I'm not too sure about facilities though. What i do know is that certain stadiums on there will be a hell of a lot bigger by the time the world cup comes around, Niall Quinn definately wants to expand the SOL to it's maximum. Liverpool will be moving grounds to a 60'000 seater as well.

It'd be fantastic if we were in the Prem and established by 2018, as we want a 50,000 seater once we get up and stay up for 2-3 years. Would be nice to have a WC game closer to home.

Derby would be in contention as we will be extending our capacity to 44,000 in the near future.
