I think stuart Peace is one in the pipe line, but not yet only if his managerial career does well,he has the passion for the job

I wouldn't mind Big Sam, he was destined to become the Wolves manager at one point since he's a Wolves fan.. ..Imagine where we could have got with Big Sam, silly Wolves board!

I reckon we'll know a lot more about Sam after he's worked @ the Geordie comedy store for a while
Harry Redknapp I just can't take seriously with that Cockney wide boy act, he's certainly no tactical genius and I'd fear for him in the international environment.
I want to like Pearce I really do but some of his signings for City are seriously worrying, that Samaras & Corradi alone make you wonder. 10 goals at home all season just won't do at all.
To be honest Allardyce is the only serious contender if you have to look at Englishmen, but there's one successful Premiership manager who also has international experience but he's Welsh!

I honestly wouldn't mind Mark Hughes or Sir Alex as an England manager, but Sir Alex would never retire from Manchester United to become a national manager. Mark Hughes I'm not so sure.

The FA want YES men, they always have, think back to when Brian Clough didn't get the job, Big Sam is too abrasive for the FA, as would I say Harry also be too much for the FA to handle...I'll do it for a third of what they paid SGE. Honestly?!?

Ohhh I wouldn't mind Scolari either (though he's not English but still a very good manager IMO), he retires from Portugal after the next Euro's I think, and he was in line for the job when Sven announced his retirement from the England national scene.

Yeah he'd be okay I guess...but I don't think the England players will master his 3 - 5 - dive formation very well

Got to be Rafa Benitez can't seem to manage over 38 games but put him against the best european teams and he is a masterful tactician. Plus he could persuade Carragher to re-think retirement (one of the best centre halfs in euorpe)

Arsene Wenger Couldn't give a toss if he is foreign I think he'd collapse at seeing an Englishman in his team, let alone 11 of them ;D
