The original protest was in light of the missing admin at the time. Also there wasn't much to talk about in the footballing world or in news and current events so it was our duty to keep the forum alive with some random action.

It's alright for you Stokes, i'm in no mans land, i.e. I live in the middle.
Good job Smithy isn't in charge of the regions, officially I live in Yorkshire and Humbershire.

Are you just feigning stupidity? It's nothing to do with regions, I don't live in the South-West either if it comes to regions. If you split ENGLAND into four quarters, we would be in each quarter. Nothing to do with regions. Is there nothing more irritating than when people are more hasty to correct you than to actually read the message and think? Why complicate the issue by splitting England into 4? Technically one can't put Leeds North West or North East because it's too central. As Stokie says, there is a reason why the Midlands is called the Midlands.

It would be far easier to understand as it's confused me and Stokie.
Everyones a Northerner if one lives in Plymouth and everyones a Southerner if one lives in Carlisle.
From experience, I haven't been classed as a Southerner the times i've been to Durham.

Half of the reason why I got hyped up about my location is because Yorkshire is so muhassive it could be a country of it's own. Even John Prescott (legend) wanted a 2nd parliament to be based in Yorkshire, however it's illegal to have a 2nd parliament and the amount of "Asians" who showed interest in the 2nd parliament was rife.

It's not about whose area is better, it's about where people come from. Stokie is from the West Midlands, nowhere near the North West. Yours truly is from West Yorkshire, part of the Yorkshire and Humberside region and not the North East.
For someone whos obsessed with British Geography and has travelled extensively, this shouldn't be a problem to understand.

I wasn't talking about regions, I was just talking generally. Give a little bit of licence once in a while... Give licence to laziness? No chance! If you say to folk that you come from Wiltshire, they'll have an idea where you mean. Since you said that Stokie comes from the North West, one would assume Stokie comes from Lancashire or Cumbria but he actually comes from Shropshire. Saying yours truly comes from the North East means I live in Durham or Northumberland where I actually come from Gods Own County.

Time for a new protest Parks and public footpaths ruined by dog dirt - the stench, the mess, the moral cost of it all. Even worse when it's a guide dog doing it's business on the path, whos going to pick it up? Time for a zero tolerance approach

Guide dogs should only go to blind owners if they've learnt to clean up their own mess. I don't expect them to wipe their backsides with Andrex and wash their paws but at least have the the decency to clean up after themselves.
At least cats have a poo on some catnip or mud and bury the evidence.
