That could work, all providing these people want the jobs. I would accept if asked, but first and foremost i think we need more members to make it wok with 4 mods. Get a recruitement drive up and see what happens, if it goes well then we use 4 mods

Just to clarify the situation I have already declined the Admin post, for various reasons, and am happy were I am.I will actually give up my position as Global Mod for the right person or just leave it as it is.

In that case move Stealth to admin and promote 1 other person to fill his role? Providing we go with 4, of course

The 4th Mod is optional as far as I can see.

After much thinking and deliberating I've come close to considering stepping down and not coming on the forum anymore. I'm pretty monkey'sed off that people are messing with the codes of the place and can't wait five minutes for me to put the banner up myself - people can't be bothered to wait for me to make a banner and simply can't understand that I've actually got a life outside of RHF, I have A-Levels to pass and universities to apply for and I'm sure some of you have noticed that I don't exactly have a lot of "get up and go". Some of you don't understand that a good banner doesn't take ten minutes to make and I put a lot of hard work into making banners of the highest quality - but people can't be arsed to wait and demand a new banner NOW which has resulted in the code I constructed from another layout being wiped out completely, even though it needn't have been touched in the first place because you only had to go to the images section to edit the banner!
No offence guys but I just feel as if I'm being taken for granted slightly, people don't seem to understand that good banners and skins don't take ten minutes or one hour - they can take days to create and construct the codes for. If you want ten minute jobs then I think Joe is your man, not me, and if that's the case I'm going to step down and leave the forum as I'm clearly not up to scratch. I was in the process of making a new banner & skin for this place and have been since August time.
I'm rather weeed off that some of my hard work has been removed (mainly the coding which took me hours to adjust and consequently I can't get it back now) when it needn't have been touched. I'm just really not in the mood for this sort of thing at the moment as I have too much going on both emotionally and physically.

I'm incredibly weeed off to be honest, I just feel as if I've been taken for granted - I understand you guys have the forum's best interests at heart but at the end of the day the sort of banners I create don't take ten minutes or an hour, they take a good couple of days to throw together and the skins can take a couple of weeks. If you want ten minute jobs then Joe is your man (no disrespect Joe).

I can see why you feel that way Sam. The only thing I can counter with is folk wanted something up just to stop the place looking dated and you said I'll get it done tonight/weekend (can;t remember) and if you had said look guys give me a few weeks I've got stuff on I'm sure everyone would have been cool with that ( I would have been). I don't think anyone would accuse you of not having the forums interest at heart, I think this on going power struggle is a bit of a farce to be honest. People should state what they actually want rather than the pussyfooting around. I think there are a few folk on here who would make good mods, myself included, but the question is do we need more? Do we stick to what we have? The forum doesn;t need much 'modding' as it is.

Sam; I think I speak for all of us when I say that if you were to leave permanently then the place would never be the same again. I can understand your frustration; and I agree with the coding being screwed up.
We do appreciate everything that you have done and continue to do for the Forum. I have an idea as to how I MIGHT be able to get the codes back; so I'll get back to you on that.
And as for the power struggle; I was merely stating that if Stealth didn't want the Admin job then I was interested in it. I am not trying to force anyone out of their current positions.

Perhaps I'm more weeed off that a stylesheet/code that I took weeks to edit has been deleted in one fail swoop when it needn't have been. Why Joe was even pratting about in the headers and footers in the first place is questionable - if someone had have PMed me the banner code I would have put it up first thing as it only takes a minute.

No wonder you're weeed off Sam. I think the forum needs to kick on from this latest drama, our new chief should hopefully clear it up for us.

From reading the thread in Physio Room it was the main Admin account that gave Joe permission to change the banner.

Has Stealth logged into the admin account yet? Or was it Olly that gave the go ahead?

Considering I was the head of the graphics and skins (or so I thought) I'm very annoyed someone was given permission to edit the banner without running it by me first. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Joe's efforts and wouldn't have been against it in the slightest but it still would have been nice to either be PMed first asking to put the banner up or at the very least been notified that someone would have been pratting about in the headers and footers. How the monkey's can you delete the entire code? It was miles long FFS, it was a monkey'sing stylesheet!

I take it the codes are the reason why the fonts a fecked?

Yes. Also when you type your message out the buttons and box you type in change colour - that was part of the code as well, and it took me bloody ages to edit.

Don't mistake this for an ego boost trip, but I like coming on here and seeing it look quality and professional - I take great pride in my work, I don't mind at all if others want to chip in like Joe but I don't want this place to look shabby and at the moment it does because the code has been deleted - that probably explains why I'm weeed off so much.

I'm still trying to find a solution for this.
Some places will have previous archived versions of Forums and sites. If I can find a version of RHF from about a week ago we can use that to input all the codes again.

I think if we changed the fonts back it would look a lot better, but I think the new banner has made the place look better. It doesn't mean it has to stay forever but its a good change just now.

Oh yes, my issue is with the fonts only - I have no problem whatsoever with the banner.
Mark - I know what you mean, there are some websites out there that archive, I've been on them before as some still have RHF's layout from last year!

Might be worth a try. Can you remember where you saw the archived version of RHF? If you go to it in Firefox; right click and select View Page Source it will bring up all the codes and stuff.
You can then copy and paste it into Word and work through all the codes.

If what you are talking about is the font size I can confirm that it is far too small.
