This sport just leaves me cold. I know I'm supposed to like it because I'm male but I just don't.

Can't say it really does much for me either. I follow it because British drivers and manufacturers still excel at it and any British victory is good to cheer.

By coming from 18th to 3rd (albeit after Trulli was given a penalty), Lewis Hamilton proved he's actually a talented driver.

I like it, but couldn't sit through a whole race...
I'll watch highlights OK, though!

It's ok and a great turnaround for Jenson, a month ago he didn't even have a drive and now he seems to have a genuine chance at winning the World Championship - fair play to 'Brawn'

Brawn racing had a car that building was started 3 months before anyone else, and it showed, fantastic drive from Button. Anyone see Vettel and Kubica's crash? Really unlucky as Kubica would have probably won from there but thats what you get when 2 young and hungry drivers are going toe to toe in a race. Hamiltons 3rd place wasn't so great as he only got it due to a lot of retirements, but fair play he didn't get involved with anything had a steady drive and took a podium slot.
Button, Kubica, Vettel and Barrichello could all be potential winners this year but don't count Massa, Raikonen or Hamilton out just yet, they'll all have a car to match Brawn by Spain and they all have KERS which the other 4 don't have

To be fair Hamilton is very overated and that showed at the back end of last season were Ferrari and BMW improved their cars and he struggled against them. He only passed the cars he did on sunday because he's running with KERS that gives him 80 bhp more than all other cars for 7 seconds per lap allowing him to pass those that don't. Also forgot to mention Sebastian Buemi in my original post very assured drive from a rookie, looks like the new breed of racing drivers are all very able and the future looks bright for racing with the likes of Kubica, Vettel, Bourdais, Piquet, Buemi, Glock, Rosberg, Nakajima all look capable of doing very well given the right car

Hmm i heard Brawn had started the design and build of their new car before the end of last season as they saw last season as a write off, so the new car was primarily a Honda car with a Mercedes engine

Don't think Kubica would have won last year even without BMW giving up on development for that car, but he's definately a strong bet for this years winner, if he get the KERS system in his car he'll be unstoppable

Mclaren cheating again? Mclaren used to be the team i suported in F1 before the whole poo with Hamilton and Alonso and then the spying stuff. The team is a shambles now. Far cry from the days of Hakkinen and Coulthard. No wonder super Kimi Raikonen left a few years back. I know they won the title last year but would you want to be a part of that team? Giving orders to cheat!!!
This season we'll see who the best drivers are in F1, Hamilton is far worse than Kubica, Vettel, Rosberg, Button, Raikonen, Massa, Alonso, he's just been lucky with a good car.....aaah always nice to get some Hamilton bashing into a thread, arrogant twat.

I think given an equal car Rosberg would probably beat Hamilton, I suppose its all a matter of opinion really like in most sports.

I always wondered why Button never got better drives. He showed a lot of promise early on.

Lost it after Rosberg got a flying start. In third now.
Just watched a cracking little battle between Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso, Webber slaughtered him.

Now he's won in Turkey as well. just going from strength to strength:
Button's feat of winning six of the season's first seven races has only ever been matched by Formula 1 legends Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Jim Clark and Michael Schumacher - all of whom went on to win the world title.
