...could please buck their ideas up and challenge us in this division, it would be very much appreciated.
9 points clear of all the proper clubs in this division, with a game in hand, I think it's about time I feel a big smug.
Oh and the "you're not famous anymore" chants, been done by everyone, use your imaginations please.
Regards, Smug Bastard.

Boasting about leading League One with the infrastructure and funds you have seems a bit silly really. Maybe you can urge all your other fans to stop being smug and sing a bit more, because your home fans were pathetic. And don't bring the "we're louder away" argument up, EVERY team's fans are louder away. Regards, Fez.

It means MK Dons are not a proper club, few would argue.
Believe it or not it is mighty difficult to get up for dire home games against teams like Northampton, Hereford, Yeovil etc. when just 4 years ago United, Pool and chels were visiting week in week out. Our ground and atmosphere's a joke I'll openly amit that. The louder at aways argument I know is boring but it does come into affect with us, a lot of our fan base gave up on home games this season and now just focus on aways, we're at yeovil monday night on sky with over 1000 been sold already.
The reason I made this thread was more the "big clubs always struggle" mentality and the fact the I kept my feet firmly on the ground pre season predicting play-offs for us, ok it could still happen but up til now I've seen nothing in this league that qill stop us ruinning away with the league.

Coming down here on the 31st? Silly question. To be honest I think our support will be pooe, it depends which fans get the tickets with the execs, players getting a few and only 1,300 allocated our end could be very bad. Hopefully there'll be alot come down without tickets, try and Jip the turnstyles and if not hit the boozers or the hill. Not trying to make excuses here, I've alot of mates who are very much fearing they won't get tickets for this one.

Tell your players that. You sound like Leeds fans TBH I think you will go up, along with Millwall/MK Dons...but we're having 3 points off ya on the 31st. As for our home allocation...email the head of northampton boro council and ask him why we can't build a garden center to helps us develop the stadium. Heres his email cllr.awoods@northampton.gov.uk CF

Sorry, but you really didn't impress me when you came to the ice station, you scored from a ridiculous free-kick (ie it was never a free kick!), and we more than matched you! Still, rather you than Leedscum matey! KTF Joe

You still get good attendances and you're top of the league. Surely after so many years of decline, your home fans should be happy there is something to sing about?

Sorry for the late reply's was at palace last night, fantastic night despite the result, showed we are beatable *waits for Brighton fan*
Firstly - 'Uddersfield - you may not like the chant but some tools to our left seemed quite happy to sing it back at your place. you coming down in a couple of weeks? please don't expect much although if your away end is vocal and up for banter it will wake us all up, if you want to do a northampton "who are ya" "support is fakin poote" etc. we'll just laugh, and it'll be terrible. I've actaully got high hopes for your lot, was great in the return game despite me having to watch much of the 1st half in the concourses for standing, your stewards really are carps!
And Northampton - your right it should, our crowds are good for this league yes, I'd love to see how many the premier big boys would attract in this league and how it'd compare to us and Leeds. But the fact remains that whilst we are getting around 19k average there are over 13k empty seats.
Alot of people gave up on homes after last season and I was close, our ground really is horrible, I don't know 1 city fan who doesnt want filbert street back, shame it's now a block of flats.
Other Northampton - dont worry I'm not moaning about our allocation, its completely fair, its just the way we distribute tickets and with this being so local, I think the majority of our proper fans will miss out.
I'll be there no matter what but whether I have a ticket is a different issue.

i'll let you have that one true blue.... we do have a few tools of fans but hopefully by then we'll have a new striker... times are changing here when you were playing us at our ground turnip ternent was our manager and we were dire.... i'll happily take a point away from that game just hopefully we will turn up on the day ( i unfortunatly won't because i can't afford and with hours at work) but we should take a few down...
and there's nothing wrong with our stewards apart from weight problems, sight problems, health problems, al.... ok then they are pretty shocking too either way i'm really looking forward to the rest of the season

Quite amusing seeing about 5 wannabe chavs trying to give it to 3000 away fans from the family stand

How big, there are some arses at the back of that stand yes. But how you can go on about sitting is beyond me, I'm in the block to your left, which stand all game every game along with 2 others, it was your support on their arses. Fair play you sang (abit) but with you all decked out in shirts sitting down it was as small time as it gets.
- Scunthorpe stewards were class, left us to it behind the goal and in the side stand. They wern't going to get us seated so gave up, I was pretty much front row and was never troubled.

Also - If I could just take back everything I said in the opening post!
Some of you may have heard Alexander Tunchev is out for the season, by far and away our best player and without being biased I'd say one of the best outside the prem. He's far too good for us.
Anyway I predict things will get a lot tougher for us from now, starting with Yeovil away on monday night (sky)

It now appears I dont have a ticket for Northampton and to be honest I'm not too fussed, would have been nice to do every game this season however!!! Our allocation of 1300 sold out within hours but what the ticket office didn't realise is that they put them on sale monday 2pm, about the same time as many including me were leaving for Yeovil! What idiots!
Is the hill a decent place to watch it?

For once Hudd's I'm actually looking forward to a home game, this league so far has only been about the aways with homes just played in half full stadia and everyone expecting us to win, but with you bringing a decent mob there should at least be some good banter, I'm to your right in the standing blocks.
Also Northampon one of the reasons I'm not fussed about going is your ticket prices, £22! Now I know we charge £23 but tbf even though i hate it our geound is a top class facility, good city centre location and also good range of concessions up to u/22's which brings it down to £15. At your place unless your 15 it's full whack. I suppose we were charged £32 at Leeds so its happening everywhere
