Even if i did, i couldn't pass it to you through a screen! But it's true that they teach you very little useful stuff. However if you're ever having a conversation about whats in your school bag, then i'm your man!

Nah, not him. He's probably a scummy Brummy, or Vile Wheres Butterfield Court then? 'Cos thats were hes from. I should think it's in Newcastle, Ben, as that's where The Animals hailed from.

We were talking about John Bonham the drummer in Led Zeppelin at that point, not Chas.
Butterfield Court is the block of flats depicted on part of Led Zeppelin 4 and is nearby were John Bonham hails from.

You mean this album; Yes that one, as in arguably the greatest album ever made. In the inlay or perhaps the back cover there is a block of flats pictured.

lol eeh i love german i'm better then all my friends cause i've been doing it a lot longer it's better then french frogs though:) I'd rather have learned French at school, better language to speak and a more cultured country, i'd perhaps have considered continuing that at GCSE.

I had to do both German and Spanish at GCSE and am still doing Spanish for the IB (International Baccalaureate) this year. I think it's great to speak as many languages as possible.

What two factors played their part in helping Led Zeppelin choose their name?

Not sure if this is what you're thinking of Ben but at one time Page was looking to form a supergroup with Jeff Beck, Keith Moon & John Entwhistle. The Who used to describe a bad gig as "going down like a Lead Zeppelin" & Zep's manager Peter Grant suggested dropping tha A?

|
|
Post by hallmackem on Mar 26, 2008 16:23:45 GMT
Pretty much it, i heard it was that Keith Moon said 'The New Yardbirds' (as Zeppelin were then known), would go down like a lead balloon. It became Lead Zeppelin, and as you said dropped the A. But there was a reason they dropped the A, do you know it?
